Who we are:
David Dowell
David has worked as an actor, first assistant cameraman, camera operator, director of photography, and producer on a variety of feature films, commercials, music videos and episodic television series. His work as a cameraman includes ad campaigns for Nike, BMW, Ford, Audi and over 100 music videos. David has also worked on a number of network series, including “Star Trek”, “Angel”, “Ugly Betty” and ABC Family hit series “Greek”. Additionally, he has produced and directed non-fiction programming. He has helped create media strategies and capital campaigns for various non-profit organizations. David is a member of the International Cinematographer Guild and The National Association of Television Program Executives.

Tammy O’Connor
Tammy’s passion for storytelling started in public television programming. She moved quickly into production and found an instant attraction to learning something new from each and every story she produced. Her credits include the syndicated series “Women of the World”, “America!” for the Hallmark Channel and “Eye of the Beholder” for the Discovery Channel. More recently, she has expanded her producing skills by producing cultural events for large non-profit organizations. Tammy has shot in over eighteen countries and is an active member of the Producers Guild of America.

Mary Jane Horton
has been a writer/editor for 30 years. She began her career contributing to jewelry industry publications, such as Executive Jeweler and National Jeweler, while still earning her journalism degree at New York University. After college she started writing in the burgeoning health and fitness field for such magazine as Fit, Runner’s World and Slimmer. She traveled the world for a few years writing for Fodor’s guides, Meeting and Conventions, Travel Agent, Successful Meetings, Diversion and other publications. She was a stringer for Time magazine for several years and has written for Ms., Shape, Prevention, Living Fit, Woman’s Day special interest publications, Vegetarian Times and many other publications. In the early mid-90s, after having 2 children, she found her true calling at Fit Pregnancy magazine. First as associate editor and then as articles editor, she became passionate about giving women the best start possible – physically and emotionally – for the most important job of their lives. Now she is editor in chief of Plum magazine, a health and lifestyle magazine for women over 35.
